Scalp Skin Shaving Question
30 Answers
I shave my head every few days with 'graders' set on a 0 setting. Every couple of weeks or so I give my head a wet shave (as I have tonight).
Just like to know why my scalp feels so different from my face after a wet shave? I get none of the problems that I do with a face/chin shave. I often have shaving rash, cuts, razor burn etc with face but never with scalp.
Just curious. Is it something to do with the fact that head skin is 'tighter' than face skin?
Also get a much smoother wet shave on my bonce than on my chin/face. Why?

"Your body hair is also called Androgenic hair. It is very different from the hair on your head and vellus hair, which are much finer and lighter in color. Androgenic hair is very much associated with levels of male hormones in your system. Because of this, typically men have more androgenic hair than women"
