9) Across Orange Tongue. (8) MANDARIN ?
which makes 2 Down INNATE, which doesn't sit comfortably with me???

10) Across Savage beating rather ugly then, after lunch all kicking off. (6) ----T-L

6) Down Country that's a let down? (6)

22Down Is that SKATER and if so what is 28) Across???

I haven't the paper. What are the clues for 2 down, 22 down and 28 across
9 across looks correct and Innate was an answer to a recent clue, but whether it was this one wihout the clue, I couldn't tell you
