Whopper Of A Storm

Did anyone have this in the early hours?
We were woken by one of the most intense thunder storms I've ever experienced. Poor Sally was on the bed and shaking like a leaf.

It's hammering down here at the moment. Glad the dog isn't desperate...yet.

I have to go to the chemist for drugs so I have to go out. I have stared out of the window and it is nasty - wet, slight snowfall and cold.

Staying at home with the cats would be a much better idea.

its finally settled down, but was a terrible storm. we are off to lunch sometime soon so that should be ok.

No storm here in Milton Keynes, just cold. Had snow on Wednesday, but it has all cleared now.

Baths - sometimes I get them to deliver.

But I haven't been out for nearly two weeks and had letters to post. What amazes me is how they can stuff all the packs of drugs into their paper bag. It all fits in neatly and they manage to get my drugs into two carriers. If I try to replicate the same it just doesn't fit into the bag. They must go on a special training course.

When I was a kid and was sent to the chip shop I was fascinated by the way that they wrapped the chips up in paper.
