Postage Stamps.

I have had so many postage stamps unfranked this year. I am so reluctant to throw them away but don't know what to do with them.
Any ideas folks.
I already collect used stamps for children in need.

Oh duh. Was just congratulating self for putting all cards + envelopes card/paper recycling bin. Never thought of stamps ;)

Caran....trouble is you can't really steam unfranked ones off and use them again, cos it will make you look a right tight-Yabbie ;)

Aren’t they franked with ultraviolet markings which the machines can see but we can’t?

Just add them to your collection , there are lots of other Charities that collect them too.

The whol caboodle goes in the recycling as soon as is decently possible.

No sign of any markings on two I received today. Also very eccentric male friend put two first class stamps on envelope, inside was a card in an envelope with first class stamp on. Three stamps for one card doh!!

Ultraviolet is invisible to the human eye unless your whole house is kitted out in black light or you’re the predator, LOOL.

Very few seem to collect stamps nowadays. It is no longer the widespread hobby it once was. How do the charities get value from them ?
