I want to see this but haven't seen the first one, should i watch the first one before going cinema to see the new one or doesn't it really matter?

I agree. In fact they're a bit like part 1, 2 and 3, as we are left on a cliffhanger at the end of 2.

Pirates 1 is brilliant anyway.

Pirates 2 could've been brilliant if they cut half an hour and didn't overuse the special effects, like in King Kong.

Looking forward to 3, with the addition of Keith Richards as Capt Jack's Dad - I'm presuming it is true.
