Curriculum Theories And Models

I have a session on Wednesday about curriculum theories and models, I've been trying to research them this evening, but finding it hard to get my head around them. I think after doing some reading I've pretty much got to grips with what they are, but I'm struggling to understand their pros and cons, would anyone be able to explain them simply to me for the following? It would be a massive help. Thanks
