captions do their best but the computers don't always get it right. My favourite, from Sky Cricket: "Alastair Cook will be wanting more runs" was subtitled "Alastair Cook will be wanting morons."

The Beeb operative reported boredom at having to answer dum-*** questions on this

and the operative sullenly admitted it could have been better expressed

It wasn’t a narrative caption Jno, it was where the report/video was coming from.
Mistakes happen, you can contact them though.
News subtitling works off voice recognition software which is constantly learning.

I remember a a news report that had the pub in hysterics. It was about celebrations for the Chinese year of the horse, but the titling kept calling it the year of the ***.
