Dutch Citizenship Qualification?

My situation. My Grandparents were born and raised in Holland before moving to Australia. Soon after arriving they birthed my father in 1965, as far as I am aware, they were Dutch citizens when my father was born. I didn't know my father, as far as I am aware, he never got a Dutch Passport. I was born in 1992 in Australia, my father was 27. He was not married to my non-dutch mother. I recently heard that my father died in 2013, I have access to his Death and Birth Certificates. His mother and father are still alive, and I am back in contact with them. Do I qualify for a Dutch Citizenship?

I would say it hinges on if your father 'took' up his Dutch citizenship - as he did not have a passport it does not sound like he did.

you are actually asking anglos if under the laws of succession in Oz and Holland if you have Dutch nationality

I can tell you straight off none of us know

I would ask the dutch grandparents to write to the dutch authorities and basically apply ( and you sign )

and yes you could be - grandfathering rights
( answer yes deffo if it were British )

Dutch nationality depends solely on domestic dutch law
You are applying under something called 'jus gentium' ( law of the people) instead of 'jus solis' ( law of the ground - nationality goes with where you were born ) - and this may well be stronger in Dutch Law. who knows ? well they will in Holland

My parents emigrated to NZ in 1950 and I, as their son, had to apply and got a citizenship paper. It was time limited though and i did it before the limit expired. That was thirty five years ago. That document i didn't keep renewing as i live in England now. It lasted five ears. My son may find it difficult. You can go and ask the Dutch embassy. I'm sure it will be a Yes or No answer.
