Thursday. It's lashing down outside. I hope it stops before I go out. I'm picking up the wee white tornado at eight, my friends are due at about nine, but knowing them it will be ten! :o} Whenever, it will be good to see them. So I shall have to be away at seven.

Morning Birdies. Wet a nd windy again but not as severe. Re-cycling sorted and collected so no hanging about to save the bins from becoming airborne. Quick question......anyone had a word with Alba? She has been "missing" for a few days, but I know there was a bit of a crisis over Christmas. In any of you have direct contact please pass on my good wishes and report back that she is OK. Ta.

Morning all, quiet here for once, though sleep disrupted, not by the mater but by an acid-reflux choke (first in 3 plus years) and then a fan falling off the bedside unit - though I first thought it was the mater up and about and slamming a door....only noticed the fan when I came back! Otherwise not too bad a zzzzz
