I've always downloaded this as a PDF, but today it is showing as a file which I can't open.
Does anyone else find the same thing?

Using Windows 10, Firefox and Foxit Reader, all updated today.

Hi iminoz - I've copied them over to the following links, but can't swear they'll work - FT Cryptic 15,749 - http://docdro.id/suJTP8x Polymath 951 - http://docdro.id/vdr5fgC Click the link, "Download" (top-right) & (hopefully) print. HTH.

Thanks, Mamya, but unfortunately, no. It downloads but I can't open it.
Oh sorry, maybe someone in the Technology topic can help you.

Yippee! Thanks, LIK, worked perfectly.
I hope I can sort the problem out for next week, though.
:-) You're welcome, I'm pleased I could help, though I'm sorry I can't suggest a solution to the underlying problem at the moment.
Try RIGHT-clicking Mamya's link, selecting 'Save Link As' and saving the file to your hard drive. Then try opening it from there by double-clicking on it. If that doesn't work, please say what actually happens when you try. (e.g. what, if any, error message do you see?).
PS: By default, Firefox tries to open pdf files within itself, rather than employing an external viewer, such as Foxit Reader. For example, if I click on Mamya's link I get the FT crossword in a new Firefox tab. To change things so that a pdf file opens directly into Foxit Reader, scroll down to 'Using another PDF viewer' here:

Thank you so much, Beunchico. When I save it to the hard drive it shows up as a PDF, and opens straight away.
It also works if I right-click and save from the link in the FT.
Previously it was just showing as a Windows file.
