removing questions

Hey, i know this is the wrong section, but I figured it would get answered really fast. :) I was wondering if once I remove my question...or make it so no other answers can be posted...does it no longer appear under the section to others?? I can still see it under my profile obviously, so I am just not sure about what others can see. Thanks

if u click the icon for enough answers recieved, i.e. you close the question, you still get answers on the site but no email notification. ay least that is the case in my experience
