How to clean a lime stone floor

I have a sandy coloured lime stone floor in the kitchen and normal household cleaners just don't get it clean as its not a smooth surface.

I have looked at specialist cleaners that cost a bomb but not really sure which one to go for and don't want to waste my money.

Does anyone know of anything that will really get it clean.

Any soap and a SCRUBBING BRUSH. Sad but true. Rinse plenty, soaking up with old towel to stop the grubby water clogging in the textured surface

You might want to put a sealant on it afterwards to save your sanity.

Think you must be right as when I get on hands and knees and really scrubb it you can see the dirt lift off.

Shame throwing a mop around will not have the same effect. LOL

I should have stuck to lino.
