Could someone explain these 2, or tell me where I've gone wrong?
Frank, most excellent fellow coming unstuck in sentence down under (8) swinesty? I understand (f)inest, but am otherwise at a loss.
Time for women with influence to get support(4) stay?
Again, I understand bits of it: t = time, say = influence, stay = support.

A swy is apparently a 2-year priosn sentence in Australia.

Influence = sway
Swap the w (women) for t (time) = stay
The word SWY is used in Oz to denote a two-year sentence (from the German zwei) [New to me!]
