no.... the point of AnswerBank is to build up a bank of knowledge, so they seldom delete things even if they're out of date

Members can't delete posts, and the editorial team/moderators do not remove content unless it has broken the Site Rules. If this is the case then please report the post using the "Report" function.

We feel that any post may be helpful to another member in the future and is, therefore, valuable.

Given the reply above perhaps the pragmatic thing to do is to start a new profile, perhaps with a distinct enough name that people won't make the connection between the "new you" and the person who posted the relevant questions.

As this site is anonymous, I think that should work just as well without contravening the spirit of the site.
