Despite not being a full EU member they still have EU fishing rights in British waters and are one of the biggest plunderers of our cod shoals. That may explain their recent little hissy fit about our negotiations over terms post Brexit. Did you know that the EU has "agreements" in place with 20 non European countries to allow them to fish "EU" waters, including African countries. Guess where they all head for? Clue. It isn't the Med.
