I have just returned from a spot of shopping. Its absolutely pouring down here....very heavy rain and its really quite cold, so not nice at all. There is localised flooding, and huge puddles everywhere.

And yet there is a small crown of teenagers walking down the hill, with no coats or hats at all ! The looked like drowned rats. These are probably the same kids that wear Puffa jackets and woolly hats in the height of summer.

Seems daft to me !

When my friend and I were waiting for the train to go to Liverpool last Saturday, it was freezing cold by the way, there was a young girl on the platform (about 19) in a very tight pair of jeans and a crop top (crop top!!) with three quarter length sleeves - we felt cold just looking at her ...

I'm not exactly dressing for winter at the moment. I'm just experiencing one long, ceaseless hot flush. I've had some funny looks walking around in flip flops.
