Just watching Fridays Chase. One contestant was asked what she would spend the money on if she won a considerate amount. She said Marks and Spencer's Two for a tenner meals that included a main, dessert and a bottle of wine .
Even Bradley was a bit taken aback by this.

I think Luciano Pavarotti (the tenor) ate more than two...
Sounds like she's happy with her lot in life.

I suppose that is an option Mamya.
Don't know how much it was, Caran...but what would you spend it on?.....Apart from, like me, wine...men and song..... ;-)

You know gness I haven't a clue. I want for nothing.
I don't crave holidays, new cars and I would never move from this house I love the situation I live in.
So I suppose I could say the same as this lady, who knows?
They are actually really nice meals and if you don't like cooking but still want fresh food....perfect
Question Author
Yes ummmm I have had them before. Very good value especially with the bottle of wine included.
Does M&S deliver?
Question Author
I don't know, but wouldn't really think so. I have never seen delivery vans about.
Well if you won a lot of dosh you could have a taxi pick up your M&S meals for you...... ;-)
I think they did a trial in London last year, don't know what happened with that.

You can order party food, platters etc but think you have to collect.
I know they deliver party food but not sure about normal shopping.

I do understand where she's coming from. If you hate cooking it'll be the perfect solution.

I'd buy one of the cordless hoovers. The one I like the look of is £350 and I can't justify that as I only have one room (besides the stairs/landing) with a carpet.

I think if I won some money I'd extend my workroom over the existing dining room extension and fill it with shelves to hold fabric and wool....all neat and tidy...x
Simple things when you're happy with your lot.

I actually have a massive 'to do' list but have a man who puts everything off until tomorrow. Everyone know tomorrow never comes.....
Ummmm....when he gets to my age he won't....he'll do everything today!.... :-)
He has good intentions :-D
I does make a change from the usual "holiday" reply.

I don't know what I'd do either, I like where I live, have a nice car and home, don't enjoy travel.
I like where I live. Might buy a better car if the pot was big enough.
Blimey, if they're that good I really must try one.
ummmm, I have a GTech Air Ram. It's brilliant. Light, easy to use and a good price. I have the hand held version too. Very useful.
