I'm trying to find the name of this UK town using the following cryptic clue. All help appreciated thanks in advance.

You won't be bored if you visit this town. There is a theme park, museum and nearby you can even go underground. The subterranean experience might evoke fond memories of an actress with the title of Lady McAlpine. If you visit the town around 8th May you will even be able to enjoy an old British custom which attracts people from far and wide.
