But you really DO need a solicitor. If you are innocent, you will still need to prepare and present a defence. The solicitor will find out what evidence the prosecution are intending to use and will prepare your defence.
You can not just stand up in court and say ''I didn't do it'' . You must be able to prove you did not do it. To do that needs a solicitor.

I am not sure if I should mention this, but the mistakes in your post and the way it is written tell me that English is not your first language. You need someone who speaks ,writes and understands English perfectly to help you in court. That person is a solicitor. He/she can also arrange for a translator if needed.
yes english is not my first language. but when i went to court today for my first hearing. they just told me that its been postponed. i further asked the guy he told me its been postponed for further investigation. so that means that prosecutor do not have enough evidence to prosecute me or think his case is not that strong...?
I think that you have come on here for advice and you are being given that advice and you are not seeming to take that advice. You claim to be innocent,,and that may well be the case .... but in order to ensure that your side of this case is put before the sheriff properly you must have a solicitor to represent you and to do this....EDDIE51 has explained why, as have others. The fact that the case has been postponed does nt mean they do not have enough evidence it probably means that courys are very busy and there is not time yet. Get a solicitor now so that you have time to explain to him/her exactly what happened.
