A former leader of the Social Democratic party and Supporter of Russia and China, but pro-EU.

Everyone in the EU (apart from Merkle) opposed the migrant quota, even the UKs worst Prime Minister Cameron was against it (but eventually caved in).

In the scheme of things, who the Czechs elect is of little importance.

Milos Zeman is an interesting character !

He doesn't believe in climate change.
He thinks that Czech people should be allowed to carry concealed weapons.

Good for him, he sees through the EU's constant scaremongering about Russia, in order to justify creating an EU army, and like Trump (and for what it's worth; yours truly) he thinks the Paris Agreement was a load of tosh.
