Jeez I haven't seen one of them in aaaaages.
I wonder if it's still functional, or if it's empty and just been left standing as it looks "nice" :)

There's one very similar at the end of my road ( Bexley). Always has BT men groping about inside !

It's very cute - can Street furniture have a preservation order?

If not it should be allowed, when they changed some street lights years ago near me they left a wonderful old lamppost in situ.
