This morning I received an email purporting to be from a Dave Garlick from support at WorldPay referring to wrong verification details on an order with ID and receipt details and a chargeback
It suggests I contact my credit card company for further info - I did this but there was no suspicious activity and the email does not ask for any information directly but as it came to a which.net address I forwarded it to their abuse dept
I have deleted it naturally but I wonder if anyone can throw any light or could it be a genuine piece of correspondence landing in the wrong box
thanks all

Seems they're a Royal Bank of Scotland affiliate. The link above is to their helpdesk - might be worth contacting them to see where they got your details.
I got the same mail - on the face of it, seeming to do you a favour but I have never heard of them and just deleted the mail.
Its a scam... dont open the attachment.

I also got one this morning, as have several other business acquaintances.

Just delete, or forward to worldpay themselves.
If you look on WorldPays homepage, there is an announcement about this - it is definately a scam.
More importantly, do not log in via a link contained in the body of the e-mail. Always log in to your account by typing in the URL or from your verified favourites.

thanks to all of you for replies. As I said in the first place I deleted it pronto as I was suspicious and hopefully you will have alerted others to the scam to their benefit too
