Does anyone else have this? I put the snooze on my alarm this morning and for those ten minutes I fell straight back to sleep and had the most vivid dream that felt like it lasted for hours, just to be jolted awake after just 10 minutes. I'm exhausted!

No.
i have very vivid dreams during the night, though i remember very little once fully awake. I usually go back to bed for an hour or so and dream again, but as i said rarely remember what they were about.
Dream time is different. One can form the whole story in next to no time.

An achievement to have one in a 10 minute slot of sleep though.

Yes ! I always dream if I fall back to sleep for another hour or two. I never dream at any other time during sleep.
don't we dream all the time, its just that most don't remember it, i read that someplace.

Have a read of this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_paralysis - it doesn't match what you are describing but it is a starting place.

I suffer from vivid dreams, very complex dreams and not nightmares. It mainly happens when I am ill and running a temperature.
Have a read of this . . . it explains quite a lot . . .
