er yes it has been
I only posed the question so that people wouldnt say - what question is dat den?

The text is here
https://www.cps.gov.uk/sites/default/files/documents/publications/joint-review-disclosure-Allan.pdf

and makes quite depressing reading - it wasnt disclosed because it wasnt disclosed. Erm yeah we knew that - - - and it was no one's fault.

and there are gooby bits - the prosecution dont list it - even though it should have been listed and disclosed. Then when the defence ask for a judge's order, the prosecution oppose the application saying - "there aint narfin innit".

There is.

Gordon Bennett - how much did it cost for that pail of whitewash?
is "the defendant, D" by any chance related to the "Allan" in the trial name?

it appears to be all pervasive - there was a people trafficking trial including someone on remand for 13 m !

and the review is by the people making the mistakes, and no defence rep saying - "now look here my good people"
The law is not perfect and mistakes can happen. In this case it could be that this is the case, and not that the evidence was held back/hidden intentionally. Who knows?!

For a guy to be labelled as a rapist, even if he never appeared in court, will have long-lasting effect on his life.
