How Long Before A Man Flirting With A Woman Is Considered To Be Sexual Harassment?

You may all laugh but I'm not so sure, especially if the chap is a little socially awkward and perhaps makes an ill judged comment. We are heading for a soulless boring world where interaction between the sexes is kept to an absolute minimum in case some perpetually offended type gets upset.

We are not talking about a basic courtesy here, TWR. We are talking about sexual harrassment.
Why dont you and Dave meet up for a beer (make sure you go to the bar, mind) and you can be perpetually offended together. Make sure you take Mrs TWR and Mrs Dave so it cant be said that you are friends with Dorothy. Heaven forbid.

You have taken my comment totally wrong BM, Some women are kicking off about Woolf Whistles, so that now can not be done without getting into trouble, so Is this telling the younger males Flirting has to be done by email / FB or the likes, I do have manners & always will have manners, what I'm saying, if this " If it ever comes about by some women/s libber, no doubt they will pick up on it, anything goes. does that make myself clear.
Well no, not really, you are as clear as mud.
Wolf whistles are not really flirting. Wolf whistles are just a neanderthal way of men showing their appreciation for a woman (normally, although I accept it can be vice versa). I can honestly say I have never been offended by a wolf whistle, but I accept that some might be.
Flirting is again something quite different and has been explained earlier on the thread.
Basic courtesy such as holding a door open for those behind you; offering a seat etc etc is a world away from those things.
I know there are some people on here that hark back to the "good old days" where men were gentlemen and women were ladies but given that common sense wasnt on the curriculum then (from some of the posts on here) I am not sure the good old days were so very good.
