No idea
Looks something for cutting out circles in paper or leather?

A Burin ?
That's what my google search came up with Wolf but I didn't want to cheat.

If there was also some Ibroprufen in the bag it came from, I would think it belonged to Sqad.
I wondered some kind of musical instrument tool, piano maybe. I hope Zacs knows.
The adjustable thing looks like maybe a depth gauge.

The main point is not a chisel (so not a burin), it looks more like a pick for digging into something a bit soft.

I first thought of a pick for a horse hoof, but the adjustable element precludes that.

Then I thought of a leather-working tool, but it is not a pair of compasses. The point is in the wrong place.

So maybe a tool for a mason, or builder to get the top course of bricks/blocks even, when the underlying layer is not even.

It looks like a work tool of some kind. What trades might use that?
Thinking about it, the manufacturer has gone to some effort to make the point lie on an axis in line with the adjustable scribe/point.

Also, the main beam is quite robust - especially in one plane. The rectangular section (as opposed to round or square) would tend to indicate it was designed to resist bending in that plane.

Leather washer cutter.?

I’ve no idea what it is. It’s an ‘artefact’ in a cottage we’re renting. The adjustable blade is pretty sharp so a leather working tool might be correct. I can’t work out why the spike on the end is off centre to the main shaft tho.
A pig sticker?
