Anyone else like to see him put out to grass? I want to switch off at the sight of him, which is a problem as he’s on a lot of shows....but lord knows why. I’d rather see Stephen Mulhern any day

His children are 21 and 24 - I think he and his wife are allowed out now.
Well as long as he's allowed out to entertain me, Mamya I'm happy......nice chap...pity about the wife though.... ;-) ......xx
He's alright Philip! He's a very passionate guy when he feels very strongly about a subject that's topical. I watch This Morning occasionally and Skating on Ice.
Philip schfield is one of the best presenters there is, he’s just so wholesome and organic and I seriously doubt we’ll ever hear any allegations against him. He’s like everyone’s favourite uncle which we don’t see enough off.
Can take him or leave him, preferably leave him.
He makes a change from the ubiquitous Ant and Dec
Thank you gness what a smashing clip.
Love Ant & Dec !
Welcome, Ron....couldn't find him in the fantastic coat.......but this is fine..... :-)
Hey guess what? You probably won't like everyone on telly.

Here Murray - "left me tickets at the box office" - cos he wanted punters LOL
Lol conne worth over hundred plus package of drinks etc
...
I think he is a nice genuine family guy. Although a little over exposed recently!..
He could rescue my pussy any day...
He'll be more than a little over exposed, Patsy.....if Crafty gets her hands on him..... ;-)
There is a fine line between giving a popular celebrity enough airtime to please their many fans, and giving them too much, so the balance shifts and they become tedious.

It's a difficult job to get that balance right, and to know when to ease off the appearances, and stop the rot.

Sometimes broadcasters misread popularity, and force odious twonks onto the viewing and listening public when the public not only have had enough of them - they had had enough of them from Day One because they were never popular to begin with - Patrick Kielty springs to mind as an example.

Others are held up as pinnacles of mainstream entertainment, despite having no discernable appeal to man or beast whatsoever - Michael Barrymore was always right up there, and for those of a certain vintage - Mike And Bernie Winters.

In terms of PS - he seems to skating the line well for now, with no signs of descending into a horrible caricature of himself like Terry Wogan did.

I think Steptehn Mulhern comes across a little too much 'Schofield-lite' - a Barrett Homes version, just a bit too desperate and eager to please.
