He's making some very funny sounds.
Question Author
All done. We have heat.
Question Author
Sorry to harp on but it is so warm in here tonight. The temperature is at its normal 20 degrees but it feels so much warmer. Would the new pump be that beneficial?

The previous pump was at least twenty eight years old.
I've noticed we're much warmer here with a new boiler and new windows. Glad you're sorted Tilly.

If you've had no heating then getting it fixed will seem far warmer than if your body had been at a higher temperature to begin with. It's a bit like walking into the house from a freezing outside, it feels so much warmer. Glad it's sorted!
having a terrible sight day - the sounds I hear take on other qualities like texture and flavour - and thought this was

brolly broken down again

and I immediately thought - well use another one you silly girl ! ( er joke Tills)
Question Author
Thanks, Baths. We're fine now.

I understand that Zebo but was wanting to know what benefit the new pump might be. Could it be the reason for the increase in 'temperature feeling'?
Question Author
My brolly's in good working order, Peter.

It's a brolly good brolly.
Question Author
...and today the water went off! Flippin' 'eck. :-((((
the boiler is probably calibrated now to operate in New Degrees, which are 8% higher than old ones. It was a government project introduced in secret in 2013 to cheer people up.
Question Author
It does feel a lot warmer, Jno. That'll be it. New Degrees!
