Would You Go To Watch A Hologram Tour?
This might be the future, perhaps better than tribute acts!

If I had to choose between going to a hologram gig and watching a tribute act, I'd probably choose the latter. But ultimately if someone is singing someone else's song I'd rather they just be themselves, look like themselves, and put their own spin on the song a little bit. I imagine it's a great feeling to be watching a band that shares the same passion for the original artist. (This is all assuming the original singer/band is deceased.)
hereIam, Oh great!! I do hope you enjoy it! I went with three of my scattier girlfriends and we had a wonderful night! Don’t forget to let me know how it goes.
andy-hughes, //you believe that 'tribute' musicians playing established bands' songs do not take potential money away from new musicians playing original material.//
I don’t think I implied that, at least that wasn’t my intention, but now you mention it, no I don’t believe that tribute bands playing established bands' songs take money from new musicians playing original material. People pay to hear music they want to hear, not music they don't want to hear.
