Theresa May has reportedly ordered her cabinet to Chequers for an "away day" to stop Brexit squabbles.

Anyone think this will end well or will it perhaps end up looking more like this?

(Apologies for the Mirror - best link I could find).

Not surprised you’re apologising for a link to the Mirror … 'reportedly' a bastion of unbiased reporting if ever there was one!
She will probably give them a really good talking to....that should do it !

It's the best link I could find in 2 minutes. I think that's about the right level of 'due diligence' for posting on AB.
Not that widely reported then. Not surprised by that either.
It is a standard management practice.

I have seen it work I have also seen it fail spectacular.

In this case, for this topic I suspect the later will happen. There are too many in the staunch remain camp who want to stop Brexit and this will not change them.
It has all the makings of a really good country-house murder mystery a la Christie (except that we'd all know who'd dun it).
I think they need an away year or 10, squabbling seems to be the only thing they are good at
The away day could just end up her stamping her foot and saying For Funks Sake stop it. If you keep this up and it won't matter what you want because that twonk Corbyn will get in power and then you will all see what a shambles can be made of the country... again.

You never know it might just shock them into shutting their mouths up for a while and just get on with running the country.
Takeaway curry, couple of pints they will be putty in her hands. Good luck Ms May .
Take more than a couple of pints Anneasquith. They are used to dining in the HP very cheaply on very expensive wines don't you know ;-)
// Good luck Ms May .//

Well actually no, I dont wish the arch Remainer Theresa the Appeaser good luck, She is the problem.
