I haven't watched this episode yet. Do you mean that this was the person in seat 4, with the others all having been eliminated? If so, I don't blame the Beast for letting him/ her through to be the sole one in the final chase.
Are you saying that The Beast deliberately made errors?
Nah.
I think the Beast’s questions in the final chase were easier than, Ronnie’s.
The Chaser's questions always seem easier than the contestants'. Yesterday's episode, final question for the chaser: What is 20 trebled? Please! Proper questions.
Yeah, the Beast let him through knowing he would Woop him in the final.
I was really rooting for the contestant! It is such a shame that he didn't win.
The woman would have done well had she come back to represent the four had they all gone out. No way was that man going to get the big money.
I could well see his tactics, since he had won so little, go for the big one, with not a cat in hells chance of winning it, forcing the return of full team, with the best player trying to win a £1,000 for each of them.
I am getting more and more convinced that if there was a quiz show with such a number of ways that it can be fixed, it is this one.
Mark (deliberately??) missed a very easy qn in the multiple choice round. Can't remember what it was now!
//I could well see his tactics,// Exactly, his tactics. How does this show any fixing?

Dooh !!!!!!!!! The Chaser allowing him to beat him.
Rubbish. Mark le Bete hates losing as shown by his loss of temper on such occasions.
The show would be more believable (I think the Chasers occasionally give wrong answers, esp Paul Sinha) if they were only paid their fee if they won - then we would know they were really trying. As it is, they get paid whatever happens
^^ I meant intentional wrong answers
Perhaps we should roll that out to other forms of employment too GG?
My point is that there is no real incentive for the Chasers to win
Personal pride GG. The chasers are high in the world rankings of quizzers.
Their pride and reputation seems incentive enough to me for them to want to win.

Bet it's the Vixen tonight (don't like her very much, well, her persona anyway, she's probably a lovely lady)
