I am taking someone to court but only have their company address, this is no good as I am taking the individual to court not the company, does anyone know how I can get an address for someone with only their name? I have done google searches etc but no good, I have been told a judge can order him to give the address but again this will take ages.
try 192.com might be able to help but you need an area, it does various searches using electoral roll/directory enquiries & census. it also does director searches but i'm not sure how much info it gives. good luck
I am not using a solicitor as it is a small claims court and I am skint. As I said above, I can get a judge to order him to give his address, I was just hoping to avoid the delay as his company said he is away for two weeks.
if it's a limited company you can search on the database of companies at companies house (not certain of web address but google will provide!) You may have to pay but you can get a list of directors which will provide home addresses for them (I think it's about 7.00 for a basic search) Some details are available free but directors details aren't.
If the company isn't limited you can always get a process server to serve a writ on him at the company address. failing that wait for him to leave the office and follow him home.
If I was a stalker I would know where he lived, stalkers tend to follow people, I do not want to resort to that, but thanks for your very usefull comment..
Will you stop wasting my time, I had already decided that I may as well wait for him to get back of leave as I don't expect him to be available through 192. I was only looking for some useful advise not a lecture.
