Sorry ummmm....I can't answer that question as I have no experience of that particular situation.
Throughout history women have been for the taking whether due to war or natural disasters and i suppose it would be an advantage if you were to be paid for the "inevitable."

just the way the news companies are trying to blow it up out of all proportions and sensationalising it

I don't know how long the Oxfam workers were out there for but I'd imagine that they would be looking for female company.The women would be desperate to get money to buy food etc. for their children and would be vulnerable So they would probably be willing to sell the only thing that they had.I just hope that they were well paid for services rendered.

I can not see how paying a prostitute can help the economy, unless a bed tax is implemented, then they could get two for the price of one or even BOGOF, then the whole system would go tits up.

What is most appalling is that aid workers are taking sexual advantages of young women (and men) in return for handing out the food which they are paid to be doing anyway, this has been going on for years - the UN is the worst of all - it is well known and nothing is done about it.

For the record, my original comment regarding prostitution still stands.

But the OXFAM case is seriously worrying, if we can't rely on the aid agency's and charities, to get things right.
