Pink screen!
6 Answers
We recently sold our old pc (which was working fine, but we have recently bought a new one with bigger GB) to a family member. It was transported carefully and, as far as I know, has been connected up properly. However, they have phoned us to say that everything is working but what should be white on the screen, is pink. I have asked her to check all cables are connected correctly. Is there anything else they can do to rectify the problem? Thank you.

printer - everything is exactly as we had it and we didn't have any problems. Although it was treated with kid gloves while being moved, I am hoping it has not 'disturbed' something inside the monitor?
Maybe worth checking the cable plug and PC socket first. As the monitor cable has been unplugged and plugged back in recently it is possible that you have accidently bent one of the pins. A bent pin would potentially give the 'pink' effect. If this is the case it might be possible to carefully bend the the pin back in to position.
