windows me firewall

Hi everyone ....

Hope someone can help with the one !!!

My operating system is (unfortunately !!) Windows ME .... my firewall was provided by Zone Alarm who have very kindly chosen to no longer support this operating system ....

I've checked a few firewalls out but all seem to require different operating systems or, if they do support ME, it would be cheaper to replace my PC with a different operating system than it would be to purchase the firewall !!!

A free firewall would be great ....!!

Can anyone suggest where I can download such an animal ????!!!!

You can stick with an old working version of ZoneAlarm. Since firewalls just block ports and programs, they don't need to be updated anything near as frequently as antivirus software does.
