Yep, just as gross as the title. The vet said not to worry and she'll grow out of it, and to feed her little bits of pineapple that will make her poop sourso she won't like the taste of it (!!!!!!!!)

Just looking for a little reassurance that this is as normal as the vet said... as it really doesn't sound normal to me! Help ABers, my puppy is broken?!

Oh Islay - you know everything.
Yawn!
And yes - Yawn - boring
As others have said, however gross it is it's also pretty much par for the course Anthro - hope things settle.
Anthro - you could always go to a puppy trainer but if you look up distraction techniques online you will beat this and not have an old dog still eating poop!
My daughter’s now 1 year old Labrador ate poo when he was little. He was so quick it was unbelievable. However, through training and use of the command, “leave it” with rewards, he stopped.

He never does it now.
Its amazing what a bit of training can sort out Chrissa x
laughing because Islay says oh it can be solved with training but she obvs hasn't managed to solve it in her house :)
Dont let pup lick you....ugh :(
woof unfortunately I am not in my house 24 hours a day therefore cannot reinforce the cat poo eating!
However I have successfully stopped my boy eating whilst out!
