Thou shalt not express an opinion.

Now I'm off to cancel my booking at an aspirational glorified campsite with overpriced 'facilities'.

mikey, I had chicken at my local chinese takeaway, it was awful, I called them up and said; "this chicken is rubbery" - he said " thank you very much!"
You are about to be banned I think there TTT!!
andy-hughes, //I am a Mail reader, but I have not read a word Littlejohn says for as long as I can remember - he has nothing of interest to say that I would ever need to read.//

And yet you know he says nothing that would interest you. Clever!

Krom, //This is why most children are born. Either that or to trap spouses.//

Does that^ opinion come from ignorance or stupidity? I can’t decide.

Centre Parcs are free to place their adverts wherever they like, but I agree with Littlejohn (and Douglas). We are expected to pretend two dads is the new normal – and heaven forbid we should disagree!
God forbid anyone might suggest that people have children for less-than-pure reasons.* I don't see why this particular couple should be pilloried for it when it is not remotely out of the ordinary.

(*Ok, I admit I'm oversimplifying a bit. After all, lots of people have children because they're afraid of being alone, too!)
Kromo....Daley and Black are being pilloried because they are gay....as I said on another thread, homophobia is never far beneath the surface here in Britain, even in 2018.
Kromo, //God forbid anyone might suggest that people have children for less-than-pure reasons.//

Not at all. Rather God forbid that anyone should suggest that most children are born to save relationships or trap spouses. That really is an incredibly ignorant thing to say.

Mikey, why do you regard everything that that anyone says that isn’t de rigueur as ‘phobia’ or an ‘ism’? Virtue signalling, which is what you're doing, never did require a lot of brain power.
Supporting homophobia now are we Naomi !
Mikey, do you have an answer to my question?
What question ?
Mikey, this question. //why do you regard everything that that anyone says that isn’t de rigueur as ‘phobia’ or an ‘ism’? //
I don't.

But all the opprobrium being flung at Daley and Black is because they are gay, and want to have a child, and that is homophobia, pure and simple.

How very quickly Daley has fallen from grace, to some people at least.
Yes, Mikey, I’m afraid you do. In this instance a journalist has stated that in his opinion children benefit most from being raised by a man and a woman and I agree with him. What’s ‘homophobic’ about that?

By the way, did you actually read the article?
//Virtue signalling, which is what you're doing, never did require a lot of brain power//

It's a credit to a person that he recognises his limitations

If only!
I find Richard Littlejohn's columns quite amusing and he voices opinions that resonate with a lot of ordinary people.
