Forgive me for failing to grasp the purpose of this answer bank. If I submit information that potentially contains the answers to a question I'm reprimanded for spoiling the enjoyment for those who don't want to see the answer and even accused of trying to prove my superiority. GoodGoalie reckons the answers are to be found elsewhere but won't say where. Now you say you have the answer but still find time to look at what others are writing in the "Answer" section. As you say I posed the question and am invited to select the best answer, but all the other replies are concerned with suppressing this information.

It may sound confusing but I'll try to explain what's going on. AB is a great site for getting answers to crossword or quiz clues that have you stumped, legal advice on wills, help with homework. Some posters though who have gone to a lot of trouble to work out answers for comps offering worthwhile prizes prefer not to give answers to someone who may just not have put as much effort in but do share hints with likeminded posters who want help ut without being told the answer which they prefer to work out for themselves.

I do to a point understand your confusion, you join a Q&A site and have bumped into a topic that like a couple of others has acquired it's own protective shell.

You wren't to know this, how could you and yes some links were given but when you posted your 'facts' you seemed unaware they were right.

All I can say is that for the future perhaps join in with the threads and give or offer hints or try to seek out the other sites mentioned.
