As you all probably know, we lost our mikey yesterday. A sad loss and I for one will miss one of the nicest gentlemen it's been my pleasure to know
and an honour to call a friend.

I was haunted a little after the news by how lately I'd found mikey's posts a little... well, the point is that I will miss seeing his posts now. AB will be a different place without him.

Morning everyone and goodbye -hello Minty - weird,I'm still reeling over the news of Mikey, the music chosen yest by V-E and today by boaty is lovely, to remember Mikey, all I remember is the vindaloo,telling NoM the vindaloo to bring on the baby. I was restless a little overnight thinking how fragile life is. thinking of his family, I'm not staying on long this morning minty just thought I'd look in here knowing it be like the virtual water cooler where people would have has a night to take it in and talk this morning about it. It's all so sad and I think people should be kinder to each other here and respect other users viewpoint because behind this screen none of us know what we're going through or when it will be the last time we type. I think whatever our views, we should respond with a little respect (A bit of banter is great but personal clashes should be avoided really) I was thinking a lot of this as I twist and turned last night

Morning. Like everyone, I'm saddened by the loss of Mikey. He lived almost just across the water from me. So his weather reports here were almost always a good predictor for me. And he was a fellow left-winger :)

Can't believe he was chatting here just 24 hours ago, and now he's gone. Extra sad for those of you who knew him.
