Freezing Soy Rice Pudding

I made a two pint rice pudding with soy milk, but I was the only one that liked it so can I freeze it in small portions, and how is the best way to reheat it when I want some? I know rice can be a bit dodgy and I don't want to poison myself.

The trick is to freeze it as soon as it cools down,so bacteria don't have time to form.
