He spread a lot of evil and got very rich from it, which on top of everything else makes him a clanging hypocrite. He was openly homophobic, anti-semitic, racist and the 'Billy Graham rule' sought to disadvantage working women. I can't help thinking it might be a case of 'your name's not down, you're not coming in' when he meets St Peter. I certainly hope so.
Archbishop of Canterbury (now how can I disagree with this man?)
Billy Graham was an example to generation upon generation of modern Christians. When it comes to a living and lasting influence on the worldwide Church he can have few equals: for he introduced person after person to Jesus Christ. There are countless numbers who began their journey of faith because of Dr Graham.
The debt owed by the global Church to him is immeasurable and inexpressible. Personally I am profoundly grateful to God for the life and ministry of this good and faithful servant of the gospel. By his example he challenged all Christians to imitate how he lived and what he did.
He met presidents and preachers, monarchs and musicians, the poor and the rich, the young and the old, face to face. Yet now he is face to face with Jesus Christ, his saviour and ours. It is the meeting he has been looking forward to for the whole of his life.

You would do well to read up on the fantastic charity work that his son does. The charity is rated among the top ten and besides doing great things in America they go all over the world doing helping people. I don't care in whose name they do it as long as they carry on with doing the good that they have done for many, many years.
Franklin Graham? Really? Possibly one of the most repellent people ever decide to become a public figure. He advocates 'gay conversion therapy', the shunning of gay children by their parents, said of Barack Obama "I think the president's problem is that he was born a Muslim, his father was a Muslim. The seed of Islam is passed through the father like the seed of Judaism is passed through the mother. He was born a Muslim, his father gave him an Islamic name." and then had to apologise. He thought the Japanese Tsunami was the second coming, supported the North Carolina Amendment 1 prohibiting same marriages and domestic relationships, praised Putin's pogroms against the gay community by saying he was 'protecting children from any homosexual agenda or propaganda', insulted Jews, Hindu's Muslims to the point that seven cross party MP's have opposed a visit of his to the UK this coming September on the grounds that his speeches are hate speech under UK law. All of these are polished and honed ideas of his father before him. Neither of them are anything but divisive charletans and I don't care how much 'good' they allegedly do, that sort of good always comes at a price for those unfortunate enough to need the help of people like that, facts matter and they are being rampantly overlooked. with regard to his father, just because someone dies does not suddenly propel them to sainthood, does not mean that their flaws can be glossed over, they are still the same shabby, judgemental, divisive person they were when alive. Again, facts matter.
