My laptop says there is no battery detected although it is plugged in to recharge. Does this mean my battery needs replacing ? Be grateful for any advice Thanks In advance

Ellie with the charger plugged in and the lappie on..... just remove (carefully) the battery and after a minute or so refit the battery, with everything still on.

Haha. May be "other" issues somewhere but at least you can keep it charging.
