Early Nesting Robins

I have robins nesting in a Robin box the nest has three eggs but seems to be abandoned. Eggs are cold .Think with this cold weather of has been too soon. My question is do I eventually remove the eggs or destroy the whole nest hoping they will start again . So sad .

Wait a while, once the weather gets better the robins may remove the old eggs themselves.

Aww yes that is sad, but I wouldn't destroy the nest.

Just leave it alone. The robins will sort it out.
