I can be known as a bit of a moaner (I know you don't believe it) but I have to take my hat off to Scottish Gas. Boiler service booked for today between 10am and 2pm. Phone call at 9.30 asking if it would be OK for them to come then. Bearing in mind we have very thick snow here, the service engineer arrived about 10 mins later and carried out the service. Can't fault them.
When we had a problem with our Carbon Monoxide detector they said someone would call back within 2 hours..was seconds. Then 2 hours for someone to get out..25minutes.
Fantastic service! Glad you got your boiler serviced too.
People like that, who provide essential services, and who probably had problems in getting to their place of work in this snow, deserve a big 'thank you'.
