Not exactly the most testing of challenges but another chance to go into the draw for a holiday. One can dream? As this week's offering is confirmed to a very small area, I can only think that Mr Fautley is holed up somewhere cosy and not having to venture out into the snow.

Hi F. Yes, another straightforward one. Haven't been to the castle, but have visited the town - about 40 years ago!
I wonder if CF has been told to make the puzzles easier; they're definitely shorter than they used to be.

Morning GG. Golf Course shut - hence an early start . . . and . . . end to the quiz! It may be a perception but I do think that the prizes appear correlate to the degree of difficulty. This week's is only a 3 day-break. Current conditions would suggest that it would take that long to get to Mallorca, if the winner was planning an early escape from being snowbound!
