Tuesday. All calm and peaceful outside, no rain, no wind, nufink. Wonderful.

Yesterday on the canal went well. I think the Heritage Lottery people were impressed by what we do,I was there for Cotswold Boatmobility this time. We had two katakanus and the wheelieboat. they certainly found out that the canal we are restoring is for everyone. The restored towpaths are always busy with walkers, disabled on mobility scooters, mums with prams, dog walkers, people just enjoying a stroll by the water etc. On the way back to the moorings we did a bit of litter picking from things thrown into the water by mindless morons. Now it's wait and see if they will bung us a few million quid to get on and get some more restation done.

If I still lived down there I'd go to doc myself and tell him to pull fingers out... you have to be assertive tell him ,or her , that you can't cope with everyday tasks whilst like this..
