How come 13a has changed completely from the letters you originally gave us - and in length too??

Oops - meant 14 across - just to avoid confusion there are 9 letters altogether!

I have just realised 13 across should be ADENI(MS) and 9 down should be TAIS this means that 14 across is now ?NI?P?NGS which could be SNIPPINGS but then I cannot figure out 7 down which would then be G?GI - part for Gunga Din in historical siege? also 30 down is now ?ASE which again does not make sense
