Seeing the link to square shaped crisps remind me of Chefs square shaped soups
They were little match boxish cartons of dried soup powder - disgusting!

I remember them vividly. Reminds me of coming home for dinner (as we were quite poor in those days) from school.Used to watch Rainbow or Pipkins whilst dipping my Mum's toast in it.
