We are going to Canada in mid May, travelling Montreal ,Ottawa, Toronto , Victoria and Vancouver. I wondered if any ABers, had been also around this time. I am not sure about temperatures at this time and am wondering what type of clothes to pack.

The weather in Canada around that time of the year isn't that much different from here in the UK. The 'forecasts' in my links below certainly shouldn't be relied upon this far ahead but they're good enough to illustrate the general types of weather that you might encounter: Montreal: https:// www. accuweather. com/ en/ ca/ montreal/ h3a/ may- weather/ 56186...

Today....
Ottawa is -8/-16
Toronto 1/-3
Victoria 3-11
Vancouver 5-11
I have friends there and the great thing is that even in sub zero temperatures, super heavy snow and gargantuan snow drifts life goes on as normal!
Dress warm but take summer gear as houses, shops, bars, restaurants have some serious heat.
Enjoy, when do you leave and no Niagra falls?

I lived in Canada for three years and at this time of year it can be unpredictable but in May it should be quite warm. I say should be, but take something warm as well because there's a saying in Canada which is 'if you don't like the weather just wait a minute!'. We once took a trip up to the Canadian ice fields in BC and in 24 hours we had sun, sleet, rain. snow, thunder and lightning and hailstones!

We went to Niagara, Toronto, Montreal and Quebec last May. It rained almost the while time, I'm afraid. The temperatures were disappointingly lowish too, so, take autumn/spring clothes with you rather than summer ones. Or lots of layers that you can take off.
Despite the weather we had a wonderful time, so I am sure you will enjoy your trip.
