I think I heard a mumble the other day about them phasing out 2p and 1 p coins.Did I hear right? I agree they are pretty useless now, but i always wait until I have a few and then I put them in the next charity box I see.There are so many worthy charities. that need our help.

A lot of the business in the amusement arcade in which I work has people putting 2ps into the pusher machines to win redemption tickets or small prizes. Some people save their coppers all year to spend it while on holiday.
I think this might have quite an effect on the seaside tourist industry.
I'm sure I'll be hearing and reading a lot more about this.
